with support from artists such as Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke, Gel Abril, Gregor Tresher, Behrouz, Hernan Cattaneo, Laura Heath, James TT, Tampopo, Spacid, and many more, it's been a good run so far for the Coincidence Records label. And so, for all those people who have missed out on some releases, we figured it was time for a best of. But not only of our label, also some tracks from the sister label Forteana and of course something new from E C 5 0 and longtime friends Josh Lasden&Synoptic. Each track has had support from various people in the industry: be it Jonestown by E C 5 0 that got played by Laurent Garnier in his podcast for Resident Advisor, or Tom Hades' remix for The Office that got charted by Dave Clarke, or the track by Jozif that got hammered to death in the London clubs, or Tom Dazing's track that got played by many great artists including Skoozbot or Hawtin. Each and every track has a story to it and we're really proud that the label is still there. From day one Coincidence has been about bringing unknown artists into the spotlight they deserved, and with ups and downs we have done so. Often swallowing all our cash (and our friends cash, and our parents too) but still enthousiastic and combative. Our heart and thanks goes out to our artists who have made music we can really stand for. Let's do the same the next two years.
