We keep dabbling into the awesome East European Techno scene and this time, it's all about Ukrainian artist Positive Merge. Andrey has been on our radar for quite some time now, regularly releasing quality techno bombs out of his studio in Odessa. Title song "Ampoule" is a in-your-face Techno stomper: ultra dry bass kicks, a seriously bitcrushed bassline and energy levels set to destroy. The fans of Rebekah should have a field day with this on any dance floor. "Collection Point" is a weird one: very hypnotic, very loopy and with an eerie atmosphere. The changes are subtle and so is the basskick, deliberately mixed to the back as if he wanted it only to be a tool for DJs. It's definitely one of the favorite tracks on our label, if we do say so ourselves. The third one, "Provocation", starts of as a pretty standard distorted Techno tune, and all of a sudden erupts after a short break. The bass loops almost feel out of sync and waiting to detach from the rhythm patterns, only barely keeping pace. A hard Techno track that will do well in any decent DJ's playlist. Mastered by Misjah at of course.
